Buckle up: it’s the law!
Safe driving is so incredibly important nowadays, especially with increased suburban sprawl as well as increased numbers of people moving into cities. Despite all of the statistics that are out there, driving safely is still something that many people take for granted. For example, my father doesn’t like to wear his seatbelt. When I questioned him as to why this is, his answer was, "because it’s uncomfortable". Things as small as buckling your seatbelt can save you so much trouble in the long run. Imagine how "uncomfortable" you’d be if you got into a serious car accident and didn’t have your seatbelt on. There are plenty of horror stories that could better illustrate this point. There seems to be an endless list of unsafe driving when you think hard enough. If you don’t believe me, then get on the road at 5:30pm and watch how people drive. It’s ridiculous! In order for people to drive more safely, they need to take it more seriously.
