Do not overlook the little things
Ralph is an engineer working for a large firm. Ralph has been with the firm for 11 years now. He has advanced his position with the company 5 times and is considered to be a candidate for a future company officer. At his last annual review he was told by his supervisor that he overlooked little things on projects. Ralph agreed and told his boss he would improve. Ralph also confided to his boss that until he started using the sample checkbook register for his personal finances he had the same trouble in keeping his check book in balance. Ralph has committed to improve those little things at work,just like he did with is checkbook.
