Entry level managers — sometimes not the greatest
In many companies entry level positions are not the greatest — but keep in mind that you will probably encounter managers who are just starting out, as well. Because these managers lack experience, their people handling skills may leave a lot to be desired. Because they may be new to the company, they may still be learning about all of the procedures, as well as all of the corporate rules and regulations. They may not have much experience in making decisions under pressure, and may never have had the opportunity to be responsible for the work of a large group of people. All of this means that you must be patient with the new manager, just as they must be patient with you.
