Capitalization is the processes of adding unpaid and accrued interest to the principal balance (the capital sum borrowed) and can amount to a hefty addition to the loan. During these periods to continue to accrue interest on your loan and this can mount up very quickly giving you quite a shock when it is eventually added to your loan.
