For many people trying to make money on eBay, the problem is deciding what products to offer. In fact, the choices are endless since eBay attracts buyers interested in all sorts of things. The real challenge is to find out what is in demand and has little competition. For example, there are many sellers for products like iPods, so if you sell these, you will not be able to charge very much and therefore will not make much of a profit. Alternatively, if you are selling a product for which there is little competition, you have a much better chance of making a profit.
