The US Military Benefits
The US Military is one of the most important government branches that receives big budget each year. The big portion of the budget normally goes to buying and developing better and advanced fighting equipment and gears. The rest are divided to military programs, development and military benefits.
Aside from pay, a US military also receives monthly budget such as the following: Basic Allowance for Housing, Overseas Housing Allowance (for active members who are stationed in other places), Food Allowances, CONUS (Continental United States) COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment), Hardship Duty Pay, Clothing Allowance , Dislocation Allowance and other benefits enforced by the law.
