A debt management plan is sometimes an acceptable alternative to an IVA. To qualify, you must have debts of between £5,000 and less than £15,000.

The four basic requirements are:

you have creditors you are unable to repay
You have a reliable source of income
you have at least three creditors
you do not qualify for an IVA.
