I was discussing the possibility of creating a website with my two partners at our law firm. Naturally, websites are not our field of expertise and we preferred to hire a professional company that was familiar with attorney web design. We knew enough about the Internet to know that rankings on the major search engines were very important. The company or individual that we hire must be able to handle both the website creation and the search engine optimization required to get our website noticed. We were all in agreement to have the website created and to contract with someone to maintain it and update it as needed.
