It’s a Good Idea
The US government has a number of social programs in place to take care of the poor, but it seems that we are getting further away from trying to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. There are ideas out there, like government housing for single moms, which just make sense. The US likes to claim it’s a Christian nation, but in fact the core principles of Christianity are rarely seen in it’s politics. I wonder about a country that feels that national health coverage for its population is a bad thing to have. It makes you wonder what goes on in D.C.
