What the parvo
Parvovirus generally affects puppies, in that case is refered to as canine parvo virus and could be fatal if not treated, depending on its manifestation and presentations. The parvovirus presents by itself in two different forms, namely the cardiac and intestinal presentation. The cardiac presentation from the parvovirus, although less rampant, is quite harmful for puppies for they have underdeveloped lung program, therefore making them most susceptible and in danger of dying. The virus attacks the muscle from the heart that might cause the death of the dog after a time period of difficulty of breathing. On the other hand, the typical signs and manifestations of the intestinal type are extreme vomiting and dysentery that may cause excessive dehydration and subsequently, death.
