Building A Healthy Lifestyle

When I had my heart attack it was a wake up call for me.  No longer did the cigarettes taste so good and I began to see what the impact of all those drive through meals had had on me.  As soon as the doctor let me our of bed I started a slow approach to developing a healthy lifestyle.  The first day I walked from my house to the street.  Each day I added a few more feet until I was walking around the block.  My strength started to return and my breath was coming in smoothly instead of in the gasps that I had been using.
