What is Enlarged Prostate?
Prostate cancer if detected early is treatable and has a good chance of being cured completely. So people with any prostate problems and symptoms should go for a medical check up promptly. The prostate gland is about as the shape and size of a large walnut and is located just in front of the rectum. The most common prostate problems and symptoms that men will encountered after the age of fifty are due to the enlargement of their prostate gland. When the prostate gland become enlarged, it squeezes on the adjacent urethra. The patient will then feels the urge to urinate but will have difficulty in doing so. This condition is not serious but is very uncomfortable for the patient.
