Moving Forward
It’s hard moving forward when you keep looking back at the past. But to progress further in life, it’s necessary to look forward to move forward. I feel like most of the successful people in the world (both alive and dead) had a great vision. A vision implies something that is in the future. A memory on the contrary is something that happens in the past.
I once bought an air mattress with a puncture on the side of it. I had to go out and buy an air bed pump to get it filled up again, but it was a huge hassle. I wanted to look back and look at myself with pity, but by moving forward, I could focus on more important things.
