Easter countdown to the beginning of spring
Living in the northern portion of the United States, the winter season seems to last forever. Thus, there is hope in any signs of spring that may occur. Sometimes, there is not only a Easter countdown for the sake of the significance of the holiday but also for the beginning of spring. This of course is not always the case, a few years I have awaken to snow on Easter morning. More times than not, however, it does offer decent weather and a hope for warmer weather to come. I guess in some ways this does keep the significance of the season as there is hope in the season in more than one way.
