Relocating to Apex, NC

If you’re thinking of relocating to North Carolina, consider the town of Apex.  In 2007, Apex, NC was ranked number 14 in Money Magazine’s edition of the 100 Best Places in America to Live.  So, what is continuing to draw people towards Apex?  If you ask around, its the small town feel that people have fallen in love with.  There is also a lot of history in the small town.  Apex got its name for being the highest point on the Chatham County railroad between Richmond, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida.  Today, it is one of the oldest railroad towns in the state of North Carolina.  Additionally, Apex is located in close proximity with the renowned "Research Triangle Park" located on the border of Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina.  People who want the feel of a city can have the best of both worlds living in Apex because of the fact that Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham are not too far away.
