EBay is an online company which lets you sell and buy things like an auction. It is pretty much a garage sale online. You can bid on every product being sold by other people. You can also sell your own things to get a bit of cash. The Pros: Instead of going out somewhere to buy something, you can now do it at home! Especially if you are looking for garage sales; they don’t appear very often. On eBay, there are always many products to buy. Also, if you are a good bidder, you can save a lot of money buying items from eBay than other dealers. You can also sell things. If you have a lot of things that you don’t want, you can put it up for bids on eBay, and get paid for them. The Cons: Most items on eBay are pre-owned by other people. Some items are brand new, but usually cost more than other dealers. Sometimes, the item might not be in the condition you expected, and have to go to a lot of trouble to return them. Also, selling things has it’s difficulties. You have to ship your items, which will take some time, but you can use an eBay collection service. Sometimes when others bid on you item, it can be sold at a very low price. It might take a while to actually get it sold and a decent price.
