Use of a Confidential Informant FBI
I am wondering how often the use of a confidential informant FBI works out, and what these types of informants can legally do in order to get evidence for the FBI. I would think this would be a bit of a dangerous position for someone to be in since they could get in real trouble if the wrong people found out just what they were doing. How does this type of evidence end up in court without endangering the source of the information? I am very interested in how all of this works out. I wonder how much of what we see on TV is really accurate.
