Admiring the Night Sky
I am feeling so drowsy now. I had a late night last night. It was a full moon, and Sean and I took the best binoculars we had and went out into the garden. We lay down on the damp grass and just admired the night sky in silence. We tried to look for Venus and Mars, the various constellations, and we tried making out the shapes of the craters on the moon. We enjoyed each others’ company without looking at each other or even saying a word. I nearly fell asleep on the grass, and I would have if not for my wet clothes and hair.
