We did some archiving over the weekend. Our old media files just take up way too much space. At this rate, I’ll have another external hard drive filled by the end of the year.
We might look into some other alternative for backup and archiving. I saw a Drobo coupon offer on the Web and it appears to be a good possibility.
A lot of these files we’ll probably never need again, but there’s always the chance that we will and it’s a lot easier just to archive than it is to recreate them later. The source files are just so huge.
