High tech coupons
Coupons used to be these hand keyed coupons that you brought in from the Sunday newspaper and you could save money on purchases. I noticed lately first on office depot coupons, that their are now barcodes on the coupons and the computer can scan them into the system just like any other product. The cool thing about them is that the computer actually can tell if this particular coupon is valid, expired, or even matches an actual purchased product. You don’t have to ring up the coupon with the product because the computer “remembers” if the product was scanned and if it wasn’t it won’t accept the coupon.
