Panic Devices: The Types
For the door security-enthusiast, panic bars come in several styles and among the more popular types are those that look exactly like your usual door handles or key system. Even though a few doors and entryways happen to have some additional systems built in and around them, panic devices also have something up its sleeve to find a way in unlocking those pre-existing door systems that is obviously not your average key hole. But why go over such inconvenience when some panic bars come with a keyhole and a keypad? Isn’t that fantastic? Even if panic bars may not be the best thing for smart homes – they are certainly a practical option for homeowners while secure voice-activated locking and unlocking systems has not yet come around the corner.
