The Kelly Pickler prom dress
There has been a lot of talk about the Kelly Pickler prom dress lately. Personally I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. Considering that the American Idol finalist is competing on a television entertainment program, it’s not as if she isn’t in good company. TV is saturated with revealing clothing to such a degree it seems like no one even notices anymore. If she were competing for some other title it might seem inappropriate but in the entertainment industry, anything goes. Women are often celebrated for their beauty so why is she getting panned for conforming to what people already expect to see from women on TV?
