Finding my Hebrew Name
I am told that when I was born, my grand father took out his hebrew name dictionary to give me a Herbew name and my father got hold of the Jewish name dictionary. I had to have two names as is the coustom, one in Herbew and another a Jewish name. My Grand father decided on Boaz as my name in Herbew. Now it was my father’s turn to give me a more secular Jewish name. Fortunately they both agreed that my Jewish name should also start with the same alphabet. So I am Blake for the world but my marriage contract has Boaz written in it.
