Why I want to help others.
I was in law enforcement for many years and along the way started drinking way too much. It was always on my days off and it never directly interfered with my job;however it messed up other areas of my life. I lost my marriage over it. I thankfully got the help I needed before I lost anything else in my life. One thing that I learned was there are lots of others in my position. I decided to open up a home for people who are recovering from addiction. I started looking into government grants. My hope is to get some money to get this started.
