Aerobic training is a crucial part of developing a lean, well toned body. Activities such as running and cycling are excellent for burning up unnecessary calories, which contribute to body-fat levels.Aerobic training needs to last for at least twenty to thirty minutes for it to have any fat-burning effect. If you are training to build muscle bulk, then aerobic exercise should not exceed one hour.  Any longer than this becomes endurance training, and your body will take on the shape of an endurance athlete.Losing excess calories will lower the body-fat percentage of your body, making the muscles more defined. Choosing the correct type of aerobic exercise really depends on personal preference, just so long as you do it for approximately thirty minutes.
