Ahoy matey! After several weekends trawling the Carolina Coast for golf treasure I finally found the not so secret treasure map, it was the Myrtle Beach Golf Package Map! It turns out that the “x” that makes the spot is in North Carolina not Myrtle Beach! Well “shiver me timbers” I’ve been looking in the wrong place.
You must understand that Myrtle Beach Marketing referring to the 100 or so Myrtle Beach Courses includes 36 courses over the border in North Carolina. A great number of these courses are absolutely fantastic 4 ½ star courses and in most cases are a better value then the premium courses in Myrtle Beach.
