How to fade background using a digital camera?

How to fade background using a digital camera? Basic point and shoot cameras will always give you the option of configuring your aperture level. In order to get what you want, you need to point and shoot at your subject with the smallest aperture number and then longest possible focal length. You can also ‘out focus’ the background of the subject to make it look more faded. If all means does not still satisfy you, then you need to manipulate your images using photo editing programs like adobe photoshop, etc.  There is also a technique called ‘selective focus’. This will guarantee a faded background.  You can either overexpose the background or perhaps make it in a setting where lighting is so bright that it results to the fading of the background.
