Two weeks ago I got a phone call from my brother-in-law. My brother-in-law has been a private detective for the past four years. Prior to that he was a metropolitan police officer who after being on the job for 16 years broke his neck in a weird accident. He told me the reason he was calling me is that he needed someone else to work with him on a couple of cases. Since I was a part-time student he figured that I would be the perfect choice. One of the things he needed me to do was to do a cell phone search on the Internet. I told him I’d be happy to do this as long as I was paid.
