Staying with the kids
Most families today really enjoy traveling together, and while this shouldn’t pose any difficult problems, you should keep several things in mind. First of all, many hotels in London may not allow your children to stay with you for free — even if they stay in the room with you. If your children are very young (certainly they must be younger than teenagers) then the hotel you will be staying in may permit them to stay in the same room with you at no additional charge. But if your children are older, be prepared to pay an additional fee — and if it is necessary to book separate rooms, you will be required to pay the regular room rental charge. Hotels can vary quite a bit in their policies in this area, so make sure that you negotiate this before your arrival.
